On Friday, June 16, we had the privilege of being a vendor at Uni Detroit's 25th birthday celebration. This event was organized to honor and recognize the special individuals from our community who have generously donated their time and efforts to the city of Detroit. As a vendor, we had the opportunity to showcase our products/services and contribute to the festive atmosphere of the event. It was a wonderful occasion to connect with like-minded individuals, support the local community, and celebrate Uni Detroit's milestone anniversary.

On May 27, 2023, Mexicat store had the honor of being invited to participate in the Latino press entrepreneurship event held in Southwest Detroit. This event provided a platform for small businesses like ours to showcase our products and services to the local community. We are grateful to Claudia and Latino Press for extending this opportunity to us. The following week, Mexicat store was featured in the printed newspaper of Latino Press, alongside a few other small businesses. This exposure helped us reach a wider audience and generate more awareness about our store. We are incredibly thankful to Claudia and the entire Latino Press team for their support and for allowing us to be a part of this amazing event. Being featured in the newspaper not only boosted our visibility but also served as a testament to the hard work and dedication we put into our business. We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with the community and showcase the unique offerings of Mexicat store.

This event brought together various unique vendors, including ourselves, to support MANA's mission of empowering Latinas and creating a better quality of life for all Latinos, with a special focus on women. MANA's dedication to education, leadership development, and advocacy aligns perfectly with our values at Mexicat Store. We're honored to be part of an event that promotes the empowerment and advancement of Latinas in our community. This opportunity allowed us to showcase our products and services while contributing to a greater cause. We are grateful to MANA for extending this invitation and recognizing the importance of supporting small businesses like ours. We look forward to connecting with other vendors, engaging with the community, and contributing to the overall success of the event next year too.
